Nice - Lunch with a View of the Sea in the Sunshine
Strolling along the seafront on the Promenade des Anglais, I saw this place with lots of people sitting outside, enjoying the sea view while dining. On a whim, I walked in, and I was really satisfied with the meal! đ First of all, the setting is amazing. The outdoor seating offers views of the sea and plenty of sunshine, with front-row seats facing the ocean directly. đâïž For two of us, we ordered a appetizer and two main courses, and everything was delicious! CRISPY ACCRAS (Cod Fish Cakes) Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these cod fish cakes with mashed potatoes are delightful when paired with tomato sauce. đ GRILLED DAURADE FILLET (Sea Bream Fillet) There was a bit of a mix-up when we ordered this. We thought it was filet mignon at first, but the waiter didn't quite understand our English either. When the fish arrived, I was a bit confused, but the restaurant manager explained it was sea bream. The fish was deliciousâvery tender with crispy skin! đ SLOW-COOKED LAMB SHOULDER The lamb is tender and not gamey at all.
