Non-Chinese Food Recommendations in Salt Lake City 🧀🍴
🐔 Curry Fried Chicken Flavorful fried and grilled chicken—fast-food style, delicious and quick! 🍗🔥 🍣 Takashi A famous spot! Opens at 5:30 PM, but by 5:34 PM, the line was already packed. We didn’t get seated until almost 7 PM. Their sashimi and sushi are excellent 🍱🐟, but be cautious with other main dishes—some can be hit or miss. 🥃 Post Office Place While waiting for Takashi, head next door to its sister bar—just walk through a connecting door. The owner is a business genius! 🚪🍸 Perfect for snacking in a Japanese-style pub: sliders (mini burgers) are only $6 each 🍔, and the chicken liver pâté is slightly sweet (though it made me miss Seattle’s Hannyatou). 🍖 Sumac Cafe Specializes in kabobs! The tomato-eggplant dip (Mirza Ghasemi) shown in the photo was my first time trying it—absolutely delicious! 🍆🍅 🍝 Tuscany Restaurant Super cozy atmosphere with glowing menus that’ll dazzle your eyes ✨📖. Perfect for a post-ski meal (change out of your gear first!). Their pasta was just okay, but the Tuscan pulled pork and beef meatloaf were fantastic 🥩🍷. Also loved a pink cocktail with pomegranate—so refreshing! 🍹❤️ #SaltLakeCity #SLC #SaltLakeCityFood #FoodGuide #DiningTips #FoodieFavorites #LocalEats #UtahDining #ExploreSLC #HiddenGems
