North Suburbs Chicago Food|Daruma Japanese Restaurant
Located near Hua Xia Supermarket—perfect for a meal after grocery shopping! Lots of Japanese customers dine here, and the specials are handwritten on a board (though I couldn’t read them 😅). The decor is very authentic, and they even have private tatami rooms! (All were occupied, so I didn’t take photos.) Next time, I’ll definitely reserve one! 🍽️ Restaurant: Daruma Restaurant 📍 Address: 1823 W Golf Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60194, United States Recommended Dishes: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Beef Tataki – Very fresh, tender beef lightly marinated in sauce. Served with seaweed, bean sprouts, and grated radish. Delicious but quite raw and cold—if you have a sensitive stomach, drink hot tea and be careful! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Yakitori Skewers – Two skewers per order. Juicy chicken seasoned with salt and fresh lemon—light and refreshing. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Katsu Don (Pork Cutlet Rice Bowl) – Huge portion with plenty of crispy pork cutlet, topped with a soft egg—very satisfying! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Chicken Teriyaki Dinner – Tender chicken, though slightly under-seasoned. The side veggies were flavorful and great with rice. If you like Japanese food, definitely give this place a try! Note: Closed on Mondays. 🚫📅 #ChicagoNorthSuburbs #ChicagoEats #FoodieLife #JapaneseFood #Izakaya
