OKC Brunch Spot 👍 Hatch: Delicious Food + Vintage Car

Last year during Black Friday, I took a little trip to Oklahoma (just north of Texas), and in Oklahoma City (OKC), I had an amazing brunch experience! ❀ Hatch is a local Oklahoma chain, and the location we visited is in the downtown area. It’s housed in an old municipal building, connected to an office building next door—such a cool, unique setting 📍! I went in with pretty low expectations, to be honest. I was worried Southern-style food might be too greasy or overly salty
but I was so wrong! The two dishes we ordered were both delicious, perfectly suited my taste, and the prices were super affordable 💰. The restaurant gets really busy—if you want a regular table, you’ll have to wait at least 30 minutes. So we opted for the high-top tables instead, which let us sit down much faster ✅✅✅. Must-Try Dishes Avocado Toast đŸ„‘ It’s not just simple avocado toast—it also comes with two runny sunny-side-up eggs 🍳! The sauce drizzled on top has a creamy, milky flavor, with just a hint of salt—no greasiness at all. The avocado spread was perfectly seasoned, and the bread was soft, fluffy brioche toast—so fragrant! Pair this with a latte ☕, and I was full and satisfied in no time. Chicken & Waffles 🍗🧇 You can’t skip chicken and waffles for brunch, right? Hatch nails this classic! The fried chicken has a thin, crispy crust—no heavy batter, so it’s not greasy. The saltiness is just right, and there’s a tiny kick of spice (totally mild, so even spice-sensitive folks can enjoy it). The waffles are light and fluffy too—sweet, but not overly so, balancing the savory chicken perfectly. A Fun Bonus If you come here to eat, make sure to check out the vintage car next to the restaurant! It’s a Buick classic—super sleek and cool 😍. It’s a fun little photo op while you wait for your food or after your meal. If you’re visiting Oklahoma City, I highly recommend stopping by Hatch for breakfast or brunch ❀. You won’t be disappointed! #Foodie #OKC #Oklahoma #BrunchLovers #NorthAmericanLife #TravelEats
