Here’s a foodie’s guide to some delicious finds in OKC: šŸ„‚ Grey Sweater A creative blind tasting menu with surprising flavors! Though portions were a bit small, the custom cocktails (based on keywords you give) were fantastic. Service was attentive, though the background music could’ve been more romantic šŸŽ¶āœØ. šŸ£ Takaramono Fresh and delicious Japanese cuisine šŸ±. The fish was high-quality with no fishy taste. Desserts were both pretty and tasty! The staff showed pictures to help us order—very helpful. 🄟 Bao Soup Dumpling Yummy pan-fried buns (a bit oily though). The soup dumplings were generously filled—the crab version uses real crab meat, not roe. 🄃 JK by Chef King Slightly overhyped but decent. Dishes were okay—better for drinks and girls’ night out. The fruit platter at the end was a highlight šŸ„­ā€”sweetest mango I’ve had in a year! šŸœ Noodles and Dumpling Thought it was an authentic Chinese spot, but no Chinese staff in sight 🫢. The hand-pulled noodles had great texture, though the beef noodle soup came with unexpected tomatoes and cauliflower šŸ˜‚. The veggie buns, however, were a genuine Northeastern-style surprise! šŸ› My Place Sip and Savor Authentic and tasty Thai food! The curry lamb shank was perfectly cooked, and the Pad Thai was fragrant. The Thai staff were super sweet and attentive 🄰. šŸ„ž Seltzer’s Brunch at the Omni Hotel’s restaurant—great value and big portions. Skip the drinks though… the ice was chunky, and the beverages were underwhelming ā„ļøšŸš«. šŸ³ Hatch Early Mood Food A popular local brunch spot—always busy! Takeout only takes 10 minutes. Affordable and delicious. šŸ© Mochinut The chewiest, most elastic donuts I’ve ever had! Super cute with lots of flavors šŸ©. Note: Their bubble tea doesn’t come in the fancy cups shown in ads—just regular ones. The staff wasn’t friendly šŸ˜…ā€¦ For bubble tea, try Tiger Sugar next door! šŸØ Tizo’s A famous local spot where you choose your ice pop and they dip it in chocolate šŸ«ā€”then add your favorite toppings! 🄤 Sugar Sand Farm A peach farm šŸ‘ an hour from the city! Fresh fruits and famous peach products: peach ice cream, peach tea, and peach pie (which sells out early—go in the morning!). #OKC #Oklahoma #OKCFood #MidwestUSA #FoodieAdventure šŸ“āœØ
