Omaha Business Trip Plog
This was my first time traveling to Nebraska for work, and the weather was so cold 😱 – I barely stepped outside most days. But on my last day, I finally visited the local famous brunch spot and Old Market, and the vibe was absolutely amazing 🥰! If I didn’t have a flight to catch, I could’ve wandered around there all day. I highly recommend Hollywood Candy – this store sells all kinds of candies and nostalgic trinkets. Even Warren Buffett and Bill Gates have been here before! How cool is that 🤩? For brunch, I went to Saddle Creek Breakfast Club, which has a great rating on Google. The decor is super nostalgic too – think retro vibes that make you feel like you’re stepping back in time. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable – 10/10 recommend 👍! Later, at the airport, I ate the Reuben sandwich I bought from Old Market, and it was a total surprise hit 😋! Fun fact: the Reuben was actually invented in Omaha – no wonder it tasted so authentic! The rye bread was soft, the corned beef was flavorful, and when you add the sauerkraut and cheese… it was chef’s kiss 👩🍳💋! I also stopped by Lithuania Bakery and packed a whole Napoleon cake to take on the plane. They even offer nationwide shipping in the US, which is awesome. The cake was cream and apricot flavored – sweet and tangy, not too sugary, and I fell in love with it after just one bite 😍! #OmahaFood #Omaha #OldMarket #OmahaHometownOfBuffett #CentralUS
