One of the Oldest and Most Fascinating Streets

💗Calle del Cristo: This is a vibrant and bustling street in Old San Juan, featuring striking colonial architecture and a variety of engaging commercial activities. 💗It’s a wonderful place for a stroll and to soak in the atmosphere of the historic district. The street is lined with beautiful buildings, restaurants, shops, and attractions such as Parque de las Palomas and the small chapel. I took several photos here before continuing my walk through Old San Juan. ✨Calle del Cristo is a north-south oriented road, with its southern end leading to the famous Parque de las Palomas. 🌷The reason for my title is that this street is a very compact cobblestone lane where pedestrians clearly move faster than cars. 🌿 It’s one of those streets you’re almost certain to find yourself on at some point if you visit VSJ (Old San Juan). 🥃While the entirety of San Juan is majestic with its well-preserved colonial architecture, this street stands out even among the rest. #SanJuanStreets #ColonialArchitecture #Chapel
