Only in Chicago: The “Largest in North America” Design Event Is Open for Free Right Now

You have only one month left to explore the future of architecture at the 10th annual Chicago Architecture Biennial, which is the largest architecture and design exhibition in North America. This year’s Chicago Architecture Biennial features more than 100 projects contributed by participants from around the globe. The theme this year centers on the “Shift: Architecture in Times of Radical Change,” including projects by architects, artists, and designers from 30 countries, each addressing the question: How does architecture impact our world, and how can it inspire us to imagine new possibilities? Many of the exhibits and events are located at the Chicago Cultural Center, while others are available at various off-site projects and related exhibitions throughout neighborhoods across the city. Participating organizations come from countries around the globe, including Argentina, Colombia, Australia, the Netherlands, Ecuador, Switzerland, Japan, France, Bangladesh, Mexico, Hungary, China, Spain, and beyond.
