Oregon Travel | A Week of Food & Fun in Bend (Part 1) 🏂🍜

We stayed in Bend for its relatively affordable hotels while skiing at Mt. Bachelor 🎿. Despite being a small town, Bend is full of fancy restaurants and charming boutiques. On cold, foggy winter nights, the town felt incredibly warm and welcoming. ❄️✨ 👉 Pho Viet + Cafe Authentic vibes with super friendly staff—they even taught us how to pronounce the dishes in Vietnamese! 🍲❤️ I ordered the classic Pho: the broth was delicious, and the large portion was huge! The noodles were a bit stuck together, but it didn’t ruin the overall experience. 👉 5 Fusion Modern Japanese Bar + Restaurant A bright and modern spot serving creative Japanese cuisine 🍣. The fish was fresh, but as always—you have to choose between elegance and portion size! We tried: House Special Roll Tuna Miso Chip (on ultra-thin fried lotus root chips) Hawaiian Big Eye Tuna Tataki 👉 Drake - Downtown Bend A lively pub next to the Japanese restaurant 🍻. We were lured in by Google’s burger photos but ended up with a pretty average burger 😂. The buttermilk fried chicken, however, was flavorful with perfectly crispy skin! The apple-based dipping sauce (I think?) paired wonderfully. 🍗🍎 👉 Wild Rose Northern Thai Eats A popular hotspot—so busy that we couldn’t get in without a reservation the first time! ⏳🔥 Khao Soi Curry: Rich and slightly sweet broth—so good it made us wish we had rice (even though it already had noodles)! Moo Gratiem: A generous bowl of pork rice, also on the sweeter side. Tom Yum Tatay: Perfect warm-up soup for a chilly winter day! 🍲🌶️ #Oregon #TravelOregon #OregonFood #SkiTrip #SmallTownVibes #BendOR 🏔️🍴❄️
