🍜 OSU Columbus Food|Osaka Tonkatsu
After class, my friend and I headed to this downtown Japanese spot. The restaurant is small — we arrived around 6 PM and luckily got a table right as someone left. Lots of takeout orders too! The guy taking orders was super nice — even gave us a taste of the curry. We got two of his recommendations: 🍛 Katsu Curry (Pork Cutlet Curry Rice) Delicious 😋 — huge portion! We had plenty of rice and curry left at the end. The pork cutlet was crispy and tender, not dry at all. Paired with the curry and rice — so satisfying! Also comes with pickled radish to cut through the richness. Highly recommend! 🍚 Katsu Don (Pork Cutlet & Egg Rice Bowl) Egg was soft and plentiful, pork cutlet glazed with teriyaki sauce — so yummy! Also a very generous serving. They also sell soft, chewy mochi daifuku in the shop. Overall, great value for the price — menu’s in the last photo. After eating, we took a stroll around downtown — the night view is lovely~~ 🌃 #Food #InternationalStudentEats #EatWellAbroad #JapaneseFood #MyStudyAbroadLife
