Ottawa's huge puff pastry: Ichiban Bakery
π As soon as I entered the store, the owner said that the chocolate one just came out and was still warm. I ordered one with chocolate and only remembered to recommend it after finishing, so there's only a photo of the empty plate. I also love the one without chocolate and bought two to be breakfast for the next two days. I want to buy a hundred and eat them every day. π It's sweet and fragrant! I had it once last week and I've been thinking about it all week, finally I got to eat it. π The almond croissant really has a Christmas atmosphere. If there are sisters who are visiting the Christmas market, you can walk a few steps to try it. I personally think it's better than the ones at the market! I have always been a regular at Ichiban, spending more than 40 each time, and I have tasted almost all the desserts inside, but this time I was quite disappointed. β¨ Puff Pastry (Peach and Taro Flavors) It's very bad and hard to swallow. The puff pastry skin is soft and dry without taste, not crispy at all. It's basically all cream inside, which is very greasy if you eat too much. I would rather have custard sauce inside. β¨ Box I have eaten various flavors and only recommend the milk tea jelly flavor. Other flavors are really average. The Oreo sea salt cake box is just average. It's a bit greasy if you eat too much, not as amazing as the cheese bun, but it's very satisfying. #Food #CheeseBun #Delicious #SoDelicious #Cake #Dessert #OreoCake #SaltedCreamOreoCake
