During a road trip through South Carolina, we stopped in charming Charleston and decided to try Pearlz Oyster Bar – a popular spot with solid Yelp ratings. Here’s the honest take: 🍽️ Food Review 🥣 Clam Chowder – Rich, flavorful, and generously loaded. Well-priced! 🧀 Oysters Rockefeller – Plump, cheesy, brightened with lemon. A win! 🍝 Seafood Pasta – Fresh seafood, tasty sauce – definitely recommend. 🍤 Fried Seafood Platter – Just okay. Small portions for $30+, including three mystery starch balls 😅 🦪 Raw Oysters – Too small and bland for $21/half-dozen. Poor value. 💁 Service They lost our reservation at first but sorted it quickly. Staff were polite and attentive overall. 🌊 Atmosphere Great location on East Bay St – in the heart of the historic district.
