Pearlz Oyster Bar β Charleston Waterfront Review π¦ͺ
During a road trip through South Carolina, we stopped in charming Charleston and decided to try Pearlz Oyster Bar β a popular spot with solid Yelp ratings. Hereβs the honest take: π½οΈ Food Review π₯£ Clam Chowder β Rich, flavorful, and generously loaded. Well-priced! π§ Oysters Rockefeller β Plump, cheesy, brightened with lemon. A win! π Seafood Pasta β Fresh seafood, tasty sauce β definitely recommend. π€ Fried Seafood Platter β Just okay. Small portions for $30+, including three mystery starch balls π π¦ͺ Raw Oysters β Too small and bland for $21/half-dozen. Poor value. π Service They lost our reservation at first but sorted it quickly. Staff were polite and attentive overall. π Atmosphere Great location on East Bay St β in the heart of the historic district. Perfect for a post-meal stroll along the water or through old streets. β Final Rating: 6/10 A decent spot if you're passing through β some dishes shine, but itβs not the "hidden gem" some claim. Come for the chowder and pasta, enjoy the location, but maybe skip the raw oysters and fried platter. #PearlzOysterBar #CharlestonEats #SeafoodReview #OysterLover #HistoricDistrict #FoodieHonestReview #TravelEats
