PLOG 01|Columbus 2-Day Speedrun (Marathon Edition) 🏃♀️💨
Got whiplash from downtown & German Village’s ~quirky charm~—this trip was like eating hotpot, alternating between "WOW" and "...meh" 😅 Honest ratings below! (⭐️/5) Ohio State University ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thompson Library: Quiet, with a gorgeous glass book wall 📚✨ Mirror Lake: Tiny but weirdly photogenic 📸 Ohio Stadium: Iconic arch (basic but necessary) 🏟️ German Village ⭐️ The Book Loft: 32-room maze-like bookstore (map provided! 🗺️). 5/5 if you love books, but otherwise just… a bookstore. Everything else: Shops scattered in a residential area ☠️. The café I wanted closed at 3PM (why??). North Market ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Indoor farmer’s market vibes 🛒: Lobster roll & fish & chips = solid! 🦞 Pasta/ramen = okay. Shoutout to the hydrangeas I bought—survived 2 weeks! 🌸 Easton Town Center ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ BEST PLACE IN COLUMBUS! 🛍️ Indoor/outdoor mall (Aritzia, Alo, LV, Tiffany…). Del Mar: Lobster pasta & salmon tartare = ❤️🔥. Brio Italian: Skip. Jeni’s Ice Cream: Diabetes in a cup 🍦💀. Xiang Yu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Northeastern Chinese x Hunan fusion—UNEXPECTEDLY FIRE 🔥. Owner = sweetheart! Fox in the Snow ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Italian Village) Egg sandwich = fluffy bread heaven 🥪💫. Amazing Wok ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Iron-pot stew = decent but needed more flavor (DIY fix recommended). #ColumbusOH #TravelDiaries #FoodieFailsAndWins #SpeedrunTravel 🚗💨
