Is Rome Actually Dangerous? 🚨 Before coming, I read so many scary stories online—but honestly? It felt safe! Many intersections and major attractions have armed police (who also happen to be very handsome 👮‍♂️💕). Basic street smarts apply: watch your bag, avoid flashy displays of wealth, and you’ll be fine. I didn’t spot any shady characters. Don’t over-worry! 2. Prices: Fair for Europe, Expensive for RMB 💶 Attractions: €15-25 (~¥100-200) Hotels: €150-200/night (~¥1000-1500), rooms are small Food: ~€25-30/meal (~¥200) – mostly pasta, pizza, steak, salads. Coffee is cheap, but meals get repetitive fast! Groceries: Similar prices to China. 3. Where to Stay? Termini Station Area! 🏨 Unlike Chinese train stations, Roma Termini is clean, safe, and super convenient! Most major sights (except Vatican) are 1.5-2km away—perfect for walking (but 20,000 steps/day is real 😅). 4. Transport Made Easy 🚆 Airport → City: No need to pre-book! Just buy tickets at the station (10-min walk from airport). €8 (50 min, 1 transfer) €15 (37 min, direct) Buses: €1.50/ride (Google Maps works perfectly). Tap Visa card (but some non-embossed cards fail—beware!). 5. Must-See Sights! 🏛️ Rome’s beauty is unreal—history comes alive! 📚→👀 Low crowds (at least when I went). Pre-book only: Colosseum & Vatican. Others? Walk in!
