Rome's Hidden Gem Truffle Restaurant 🍴 Osteria Barberini

One of Rome's popular truffle restaurants, we had lunch here and it was indeed great! Besides truffles, we explored some other dishes on the menu: 🍽️ Black Truffle Mushroom Sauce Fettucine - It was really delicious and one of the restaurant's signature dishes. A must-order!! 🍖 Lamb with Potatoes - Not a truffle series dish, but it was incredibly tasty. If you like lamb, you must try it. The lamb was so tender it melted in your mouth. All my companions raved about this dish. Highly recommended! 🥦 Roasted Artichokes - This seems to be a Roman specialty, often found on menus in many Roman restaurants. I love artichokes, but this preparation was a bit underwhelming for me. I prefer a crispy texture, but this one was soft and flavorless. Not recommended. 🍨 Tiramisu & Chocolate Cake - The tiramisu was decent, the chocolate cake was average. ☕️ There's no bad espresso in Italy! We went for lunch without a reservation, but it's recommended to book a table in advance, as it's quite busy even on weekdays at noon.
