Rome | A Restaurant with a Google Rating of 4.6 🌟

▪️ After shopping around the Spanish Steps, I wanted to find a restaurant to eat at randomly and chose a place nearby with a 4.6 rating on Google Maps. To my surprise, it became one of my top 2 favorite restaurants in Italy! ▪️ When you arrive, you have to walk down stone steps to get to the dining area. The cave-like brick ceiling is adorned with various modern art pieces, creating a sense of collision between retro and contemporary styles. The restaurant isn't large, and it was almost fully occupied when we arrived at 8 pm. Fortunately, there was still a table available for walk-ins. The distance between tables is a bit narrow, but the overall cozy and warm atmosphere made it not feel like a big issue. ▪️ Dishes 🍝 🔥 Paccheri di Gragnano ai crostacei e calamari Highly recommended! This seafood pasta is a classic dish from Southern Italy. I've had seafood pasta at every restaurant from Capri to Rome! I really like paccheri, the tube-shaped pasta, which pairs perfectly with my favorite seafood. The pasta sauce is thick but not greasy, and you can taste the freshness from the sea. ‼️The prawns in this pasta were incredibly fresh, and later, when I saw the shrimp were still moving in the restaurant's seafood tank, I regretted not ordering more seafood! 🍸 The restaurant also has a wide selection of wines, and the waiter helped us choose a local white wine that paired very well. ▪️ At the end of the meal, the restaurant also gave us two small cups of their homemade liquor. I forgot the name, but it tasted like mango vodka, which was quite unique. A satisfying end to my first meal in Rome! ▪️ A small surprise during the meal was that each table had a small painting on it. Coincidentally, our table had my favorite "Café Terrace at Night" 🌃, which instantly made me like the restaurant even more. Since I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and really liked it, I wanted to share it. If you happen to be shopping near the Spanish Steps, you can give this place a try! #HiddenGemRestaurantShare #DeliciousPasta #MyRomanHoliday
