Rome | Popular Steakhouse I Butteri
Walking into the steakhouse, I was suddenly overwhelmed by the variety of steaks on the menu—it was going to take some time to decide! 🍖 I visited the highly recommended steakhouse I Butteri, and when I arrived, I was the first customer. But within half an hour, the entire restaurant was packed! 😮 The steak options on the menu were dizzying. I started by focusing on Italian breeds and chose La Chianina. Here’s a quick description from the encyclopedia: “The Chianina cattle (Italian: Chianina) are also known as Quinin cattle, originating from the Chianina Valley in Italy. This ancient draft breed has been raised since the Roman era and was gradually developed into a specialized beef breed in the 20th century. The breed has Zebu bloodlines, with adult bulls reaching up to 1.8 meters in height and weighing up to 1.3 tons. Calves are born with a light brown coat, which turns white as they mature.” The Chianina breed dates back 2,000 years to the Roman era. I ordered the Chianina Beef Steak, starting at 700 grams, so I went with that, cooked Medium Rare. The steak was served on a sizzling iron plate, still sizzling and juicy. I also ordered half a bottle of Chianti wine to pair with it. This cut comes with a bone and has a nice chewy texture. 🍽️ I Butteri has a very homely feel, with customizable weights and reasonable prices, making it a popular and trendy steakhouse. 🥩 #ChianinaWhiteCow #Chianina #IButteri #RomeSteakhouse #RomanCuisine #RomeFoodGuide #FoodieCheckIn #SteakExperience #GrillAndWine #GreatAtmosphereRestaurant #MeatLovers #TuscanChianina
