Rome Dining Experience šŸ“

šŸ‡®šŸ‡¹ ** Michelin One-Star Italian Cuisine at Per Me** šŸ’¶ The set menu is €180 per person for a 10-course meal, and there’s also a €140 option for 5 courses. ƀ la carte is available, and there’s no service charge. šŸ• This Michelin one-star restaurant in Rome specializes in seafood-based Italian dishes. The decor is a bit simple, and the service is quite casual. It’s not the kind of place with a romantic vibe, but the food is really good. šŸ½ļø 1- Extremely fresh and tender oysters with oyster sauce sorbet—one of the best oyster appetizers I’ve ever had. My boyfriend doesn’t eat oysters, so he had the mussels risotto, which was also delicious. 2- Pre-meal bread: grissini, thin slices, focaccia, and sourdough. 3- Shrimp tartare with tiny pieces of foie gras and berry sauce. The shrimp is very flavorful, and the berry sauce significantly reduces the richness of the foie gras—a great combination. 4- Prawn, smoked red mullet, and octopus, which were tender and delicious, along with mussels and lots of small vegetables. The lemon foam on top was a bit sour, but dipping the bread in the sauce was okay. The sauce itself was average, not really necessary to dip into. 5- Cuttlefish with cuttlefish ink and green pepper sauce. Overall, the fish was well-cooked, but the sauce was a bit bitter. 6- Steamed cod, which was very salty and a bit fishy, but still acceptable. 7- A fish similar to tuna with mushrooms, steamed to release its juices, with scallions and mushrooms. 8- Cuttlefish and flour-based gnocchi, which were very tasty and reminiscent of squid ink seafood pasta. 9- Three cauliflower sauce-filled Italian ravioli with truffle shavings. The seasoning was good and the ravioli were delicious. 10- Sea carbonara, the chef’s signature dish from 2006. You need to ask the waiter to add this; it’s listed on the website but not on the in-house menu. It’s less greasy than regular carbonara, very creamy, with small fish roe and ham. The texture is firm and gets better with every bite. Definitely worth adding. 11- Wild rabbit ravioli with snail meat. 12- Quail skewers. 13- Lemon tart. 14- Almond chocolate with melted almond chocolate and coffee ice cream. 15- Petit fours: refreshing jelly, cannoli, and dark chocolate truffles with Sichuan pepper. 🐟 Overall, the food was quite good. I’ve only tried two one-star Michelin restaurants in Rome: this one and Imago. Both had great food, but I think Imago is more suitable for dates or travel, with better views, service, and more interesting dishes. This place is more rustic. 🌟: (Among Rome’s one-star restaurants) Worth trying; would visit again. #ItalianCuisine #MichelinOneStar #RomeFood #RomeTravel
