Route 66 Road Trip: Oklahoma City Stops πβ¨
π Milk Bottle Grocery A fun historic landmark β basically a building topped with a giant milk bottle! Perfect quirky photo spot. π₯πΈ π Golden Dome Bank Building Right next to the milk bottle! The golden dome is eye-catching π¦π β not sure if itβs open for tours, but itβs worth seeing from outside. π First Presbyterian Church of Oklahoma City A beautiful church we passed by β quick stop for a peaceful moment. βͺπ π Oklahoma State Capitol Parking was tricky ππ¨ (drove in circles!), but the building itself is stunningβsymmetrical design, fancy museum inside, and even a restaurant! ποΈβ¨ π First Americans Museum A massive museum dedicated to Native American cultures πΊπΎ. Super informative β even a short visit teaches you a lot. Would definitely come back! π 45th Infantry Division Museum Outdoor display of military vehicles is impressive πποΈ. Indoors, the exhibits dive deep into history. A must for history buffs! π National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum Exactly what it sounds like β all things cowboys, rodeos, and Western life! π€ π Great for anyone into Wild West culture. π Lighthouse Got there just at dusk ππ‘. Plenty of parking and restaurants nearby. The lighthouse cycles through three colors at night β so pretty! We stayed for dinner to see it lit up. π½οΈ Redrock Canyon Grill Might need reservations! Great atmosphere, excellent service, tasty food π΄π₯©. Highly recommend! #Route66 #USRoadTrip #AmericanRoadTrip #SelfDriveUSA #OKC #TravelDiary
