A fun little diversion as we headed to the OKC Memorial. This is a classic style Route 66 roadside attraction. A tiny little triangular building on an island in the middle of the intersection that just makes you smile.
Where else but in the US could you find a huge milk bottle on top of a building? "photo op" . I would not go out of my way to see this but if in the area, it is just a whimsical site to look at take a picture and go
We parked in the nearby Walgreen's parking lot to safely take pictures. If you walk over to building for a closer look, be careful of all the traffic
Store was on a double trolley line in 1920's and was interesting place to watch in the 1960's. If the property was bigger, the structure would have been razed and redeveloped, but at 392 sq. ft. in the shape of a triangle and no off street parking, historical site is a great idea. Great photo opportunity on Historical Route 66 Tour.
