It starts in Chicago, Illinois, cuts through Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and Arizona, and ends in Santa Monica (after passing through Los Angeles) in California. ๐Ÿ“… Itinerary For Stop 17, we arrived in Oklahoma. Due to time constraints, we only explored OklahomaCity. ๐ŸŽจ Plaza Walls Gallery Address: 1745 NW 16th St Suite F4, Plaza District, Oklahoma City The Oklahoma Mural Syndicate (OMS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for and creating public art across Oklahoma. OMS was established to support Plaza Walls, a rotating mural project launched in September 2015 as an urban revitalization initiative for Oklahoma Cityโ€™s Plaza District. Since 2015, OMS has inspired new mural projects statewide, contributing to over 300 murals across Oklahoma.๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿš—๐ŸŽจ ๐Ÿ’ก Lake Hefner Located in northwest Oklahoma City, Lake Hefner serves not only as a reservoir but also as a popular recreational spot for locals. The scenery is especially breathtaking during sunset in the evening. ๐Ÿค  OK National Stockyards Until 1961, livestock sales were conducted through private agreements between buyers and sellers or via on-site commission companies. Later, a second trading methodโ€”auctionsโ€”was introduced, fostering more intense competition for available livestock. This auction drove a new wave of growth, and combined with the proactive sales leadership of commission companies, innovative market management, and a strategic location, the Oklahoma City Stockyards quickly became the worldโ€™s largest market for fed cattle and beef cattle, with annual sales exceeding 500,000 head.๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿš—๐ŸŽจ Since its founding, the Stockyards City has been a go-to destination for ranchers, wranglers, farmers, and true cowboys to buy clothing, equipment, supplies, and enjoy good food.
