San Juan Restaurant : Chinese Cuisine and Sushi

🧡Tayzan : We discovered this fusion restaurant while strolling along the beach in San Juan, offering both Japanese cuisine and Chinese dishes. Its understated facade was almost easy to miss, with a gray-blue exterior hidden behind palm trees. 🌈At the sushi bar, we could watch the chef skillfully slice fresh salmon. The rainbow roll surprised us with its hidden avocado and tempura shrimp, while the sashimi on top was as thin as a cicada's wing. 🍣 Although the prices were a bit higher than those of street food stalls, the quality made it worthwhile. 🍵The biggest surprise was discovering their Chinese fusion dishes. The glazed sweet and sour ribs were served with a side of Puerto Rican-style mashed plantains. 🍋When the server noticed our hesitation, they enthusiastically suggested a unique combination—dipping sushi rolls in Kung Pao sauce! This bold mix turned out to be unexpectedly harmonious. As we left, we noticed the waiting area was filled with Spanish-speaking diners—proof that good food truly is a universal language. #SanJuanEats #JapaneseCuisine #FusionFood
