Seattle | German Village Restaurant 🥨 Andreas Keller

When visiting Leavenworth, trying German food is a must! This Andreas Keller Restaurant is one of the most famous German restaurants in town, with a really atmospheric environment. Walking inside, it's a wooden tavern style with live German music performances, creating a strong vibe. But honestly, the most famous pork knuckle didn't quite hit the mark for me... ❌ Roasted Pork Knuckle (Schweinshaxe) 💰49.99 I was really looking forward to this signature German dish, which looked big and tempting in pictures, but it really wasn't great... The skin was very hard, the meat wasn't particularly tender, and the flavor was just average. Plus, it was super hard to cut, making it a bit of a struggle to eat 🥲. Maybe I just don't appreciate it enough. ✅ Personal Recommendation | Pretzel with Cheese Sauce 💰12.99+5.99 🔥 The huge, warm pretzel was really good! I thought it would just be a taste of German flavor, but it was hot, soft, and came with a rich cheese sauce that I absolutely love. It was a perfect match, absolutely amazing! Compared to the pork knuckle, I liked this much more, and it's also more cost-effective. 🍲 German Potato Soup (Cream of Kraut Soup) 💰8.99 per bowl It was okay, with a unique flavor, creamy texture, and quite rich. It was quite warming on a cold day. 🥗 House Salad 💰4.99 Just a regular salad, mainly to cut through the richness, no high expectations here. 🍺 Moscato d'Asti Vietti 💰11 ✅ Not much of a drinker, but I ordered this because it mentioned an aroma of peaches. It was indeed very tasty! I really liked it 😁. 💡 Tips The warm pretzel is super delicious, and you can add cheese sauce if you like it. If you're not particularly fond of hard skin and large chunks of meat, be cautious with the pork knuckle! I thought since I was here, I should try it, but it really wasn't to my taste. The live music atmosphere is great! (I heard the music when I came back to use the restroom) It felt really nice. We didn't have time to make a reservation and just walked in, didn't wait, and went straight to the bar area. It feels better to make a reservation if possible. #Leavenworth #GermanVillage #LeavenworthCuisine #Pretzel #GermanCuisine #AroundSeattle #SeattleCuisine #GermanVillageCuisine #SeattleGermanVillage #SeattleCuisine
