Sedona 3-Day Hiking Guide 🏜️👣
Sedona is famous for its red rock canyons, energy vortexes, and world-class hiking trails—plus, it’s incredibly photogenic! 📌 Quick Tips: We flew into Phoenix the night before and spent 3 full days in Sedona—perfect length! Best time to hike: March–May or September–October. We went in May—a bit warm but manageable. Sunscreen is a must! Most trails have little shade. Lip balm is also highly recommended—it gets dry! Drones are allowed, but the views are stunning even without one. 🌄 Detailed Itinerary: D0: Fly into Phoenix 🛬 Pick up rental car 🚗 Check into hotel D1: Morning drive from Phoenix to Sedona (2 hours). Scenic route with great vibes and car karaoke! 🎵 Lunch in Sedona town 🥪 Visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross ⛪ – built into the red rocks! Hike Cathedral Rock Trail (shuttle required). Only 1 mile but steep and requires scrambling (hands & feet!). Photos at the top are absolutely breathtaking—we even saw couples embracing and a photoshoot! 📸 Note: Light can be harsh in the afternoon—consider swapping with a morning hike later. D2: Hike Subway Cave via Boynton Canyon Trail (~3 hours round trip with photos). The final climb to the cave is challenging but worth it! Midday light is ideal for photos. Hike Soldier Pass Caves via Teacup Trail. Scenic route with a smaller cave, but passes Devil’s Kitchen Sinkhole and Seven Sacred Pools 💧. Beautiful late afternoon light! D3: Hike Devil’s Bridge via Mescal Trailhead (~3 hours). Be prepared to wait in line for photos on the bridge—up to 1 hour! ✨ Jump shots are a must! Drive back to Phoenix in the afternoon 🚗 Return car & fly home ✈️ ⚠️ Note: This itinerary is a bit intense—adjust based on your energy levels! Sedona is also known for stargazing 🌠, but we skipped it due to the full moon. #Sedona #Hiking #Arizona #TravelGuide #RedRocks #AdventureAwaits 🥾📸🌵
