Sedona Travel Guide: Chapel of the Holy Cross
🙏 The Chapel of the Holy Cross is a must-see attraction in Sedona. It’s a small Catholic chapel primarily designed for tourist visits rather than regular worship activities. There are no services on Sundays. 👣 If you enter the chapel and walk to the front on the left, you’ll find a footprint. Standing on it and looking up at Jesus can give you a stronger sense of the Holy Spirit’s presence. You can also sit inside the chapel to pray. 🚗 Parking is limited, and you might have to wait a long time. We parked at the church’s parking lot at the intersection of Chapel Rd and Highway 179 and walked over. 🏞 After visiting the chapel, we hiked about 4 miles on nearby trails, passing Little Horse, Broken Arrow, Hog Heaven, and Hog Wash trails. Along the way, we stopped at Chicken Point, which is a great spot to see the surrounding red rocks from a higher vantage point. Two of the trails are a bit challenging, but they are bike-friendly, requiring you to steady yourself with rocks or branches at times. Pink Jeeps also pass by Chicken Point. #Sedona #Hiking #Travel #USA
