🐬 Shedd Aquarium: Skip It (Unless You Love Parking Nightmares) 😅

Honestly? This aquarium is meh at best. If you’ve got a Chicago CityPASS, save it for the Field Museum, Science Museum, Art Institute, or river tour. 🎫 We only came because our other memberships were maxed out… big mistake. 🚗 Parking Saga Normal Day: Soldier Field lot = 25for4hours(30 max). Easy peasy. 🅿️ Bear Game Day: NO PARKING ALLOWED. 🥲 Ended up parking 1.5 miles away in a snowstorm. ❄️ My husband dropped us off, then took a 40-min Uber round trip to retrieve the car. 🚖 Total waste of time! 🐠 Aquarium Tour: 1 Hour Flat 😴 Ground Level: Beluga whales, dolphin shows, otters. 🐋 LL1: A lonely sea lion staring at humans. 🦭 (Poor guy needs friends.) LL2: Underwater dolphin/whale views, penguins, and a “playground” with two slides. 🛝 The “Aquarium Restaurant”? A cash grab. 🍔 Wild Reef: Finally, sharks and stingrays! 🦈 But it’s just rows of tanks. Dolphin Show: 15 mins of tricks. 🎭 The sea lion looked bored. 🦭 📝 Verdict Save your $$ and time. Chicago’s other museums slap harder. 💥 #ChicagoMuseums #SheddAquarium #ParentingFails #ParkingHorror 🚗
