This well-located, quality hotel is the perfect base for exploring the charming, walkable neighborhood of the Gold Coast — where tree-lined streets meet boutique shopping and cozy cafés 🛍️☕. The hotel rooms are freshly renovated, stylish, and comfortable, featuring plush bedding, well-appointed bathrooms, and generous space for the whole family 🛌💖. Upon check-in, our room was already set up with a crib and a kids’ tent (plus a changing table! 🧺👶) — such a thoughtful touch for traveling parents! That said, we did wish for a bit more space, especially after opting for an upgrade. Dining options impressed us — both Somerset and Pandan offered delicious meals with diverse menus 🍽️🌿. But the real highlight? The rooftop pool and pool bar 🏊‍♂️🍹 — an absolute oasis, especially during a hot Chicago June! The kids splashed all day while we relaxed with tropical drinks in hand. Service was A+ all the way — the staff was kind, patient, and genuinely warm, making us feel right at home 👏❤️. While I was in business meetings, my wife and kids were welcomed like family and enjoyed every moment.
