Some Restaurants Don’t Need Much Introduction
I’ve tried both the LA and Chicago locations… and I prefer Chicago’s 😌 🐐 Girl & the Goat – Chicago The restaurant’s background is already impressive — Chef Stephanie Izard is a Top Chef winner, and this is one of her most iconic spots in Chicago. Consistently ranked among Chicago’s must-eat restaurants, we ordered mostly signature dishes — and each one left a lasting impression. 🥗 Salad – Bright acidity, beautifully layered veggies. The kind that wakes up your appetite from the first bite. 🍜 Crispy Pork Belly Noodles – Perfectly crispy pork belly in a rich yet balanced sauce. The kind of dish you just keep eating without realizing. 🥟 Goat Empanada – Flaky pastry outside, tender slow-cooked goat inside. Deep flavor, but clean and well-executed. 🍨 Dessert – Well-balanced, not overly sweet — a refreshing and satisfying finish. Overall vibe: Bold flavors, clear structure. Not about showing off — every dish knows exactly what it’s doing. If it’s your first time in Chicago, this spot absolutely belongs on your list 👍🏻 #FoodieReview #LocalEats #LAFood #LAEats #100RestaurantChallenge #ChicagoEats
