Formerly known as the “Slave Market” (a site where enslaved people were once traded), it now features a wide array of beautiful, charming handicrafts ~ 3⃣ Pineapple Fountain ⭐ The Pineapple Fountain ⛲ is arguably Charleston’s most iconic spot! Parking nearby is also very convenient ~ 4⃣ Rainbow Row ⭐ Within walking distance from the Pineapple Fountain, this stretch of pastel-colored houses 🏠 is adorable and dreamy. 📷 For photos, we recommend wearing bright-colored clothes to make your shots pop! 5⃣ Boone Hall Plantation & Cypress Garden ⭐ Approximately a 30-40 minute drive from downtown. These two spots served as filming locations for The Notebook 🎦: Boone Hall Plantation was the setting for Allie’s house, while Cypress Garden was where the two protagonists went boating. The feeling of seeing these places in real life is totally different from watching them on screen 😍!
