Spring Break Desert Adventure in Sedona, AZ ๐๏ธ๐ vol. 1
How do extroverts recharge? ๐ Day 1 โ Mountain Hiking! โฐ๏ธ ๐ Subway Cave ๐๐๐๐๐๐ Woke up before sunrise and devoured an overly sweet croissant from the motel ownerโfelt energetic enough to march all the way to Lhasa ๐ We parked at Boynton Trailhead. As someone with zero sense of direction, I strictly followed Apple Mapsโ hiking route all the way ๐บ๏ธ. With some asking around and trusting our instincts, we made it in about 2.5 hours (RIP to the little fox we saw along the way ๐ฅน). We climbed into the cave using both hands and feetโlight rain began to fall, and the majestic view of the distant valleys almost made me want to take a โleap of faithโ (my friend was terrified lol). The rock wall in P8 was even steeper IRLโI gave up after a brief attempt and ended up sliding down on my butt like I was skiing ๐ฟ๐ Sometimes the best way down is to just embrace the slide! As for the famous energy vortex๐? Who knowsโbut sitting there chatting and relaxing with friends was the best recharge ever ๐ฅณ. ๐ The Angle Kitchen & Japanese Market ๐๐๐ Starving after the hike, we tried this Japanese casual dining spot. Wait was long, curry was just okay, but the fried ramen was decent. We cleaned our plates anyway! ๐ Sedona Airport Scenic Lookout Breathtaking panoramic view of the town and rock formations. The town looked like it was built from Legos! Wouldโve been even more magical at sunsetโif the wind didnโt blow us away ๐จ ๐ Dahl & Di Luca Ristorante Italiano ๐๐๐ Went for a mysterious Italian fine dining experienceโฆ but it kinda backfired ๐ Lobster pasta was saltier than kimchi, lamb chops were overcooked, but the salmon saved the day. With mains around $40-50, the value wasnโt really there. The dining was โfine,โ but my wallet wasnโt fine ๐ธ Fully recharged ๐โready for tomorrow! #Foodie #DesertVibes #Arizona #SpringBreak #StudyAbroad #Sedona #TravelDiaries ๐ต๐ธโจ
