The leaves are even redder than on Friday β I canβt imagine how stunning it will be next weekend! (β οΈ Crowd alert!) 1οΈβ£ Gondola Skyride π β $40/person You can either ride the gondola for breathtaking views (see my last post πΈ) or walk underneath it β both are incredibly photogenic! β¨ Pro tip: The view from below the gondola is even more picturesque than from the top. But why choose? Do both! π 2οΈβ£ Less Crowded Alternative ππ¨ Drive up via Auto Toll Road Stowe to the summit, then take a short 10-minute hike on a wooden path + gravel trail. π Toll Road hours: 9:30 AM β 4:30 PM ποΈ $35 + $13 per person Fun fact: In winter, this becomes a blue + green ski trail! πΏβοΈ 3οΈβ£ Smugglers Notch β The Golden Maple Tunnel π This might be Vermontβs most beautiful road! The golden maple canopy feels like driving through a tunnel of fall colors. π¨ Traffic & parking can be challenging β many park along the roadside. Nearby trails and Smugglers Cave are worth exploring. Also a popular bouldering spot! π§ββοΈ 4οΈβ£ Limited-Time Farmers Market π§Ί Open Sundays: Oct 13 & Oct 20 π₯ 10:30 AM β 3:00 PM Enjoy local produce and handmade goods from Stowe farmers. π Nearby wooden bridge is part of the Stowe Recreation Path β a 5.3-mile trail perfect for biking! π΄βοΈ 5οΈβ£ The White Church βͺ A classic spot, but views are relatively simple.
