Sullivan's Island Beach – Charleston's Hidden Coastal Gem 🏖️

📍 Just a 20-minute drive from downtown Charleston! This quiet beach offers soft white sand and gorgeous views – perfect for a peaceful day by the ocean. Facing east, it’s also ideal for catching a beautiful sunrise 🌅. As the afternoon sun cast a golden glow, we sat on a bench near East Battery, watching horse-drawn carriages pass by and listening to the distant sound of church bells. Charleston has a way of slowing you down, of making you appreciate the small, beautiful moments. 🅿️ Parking Tip: There’s no dedicated parking lot near the beach. I found street parking in a nearby neighborhood (make sure there are no "No Parking" signs!) and walked about 10-15 minutes to the shore.
