Summer Visit to Chicago’s One‑Star — Porto 🦞

I’d been to Porto before they earned their Michelin star — tried both their tasting menu and Sunday family feast. This time, I decided to explore their seasonal à la carte dishes. 🦐 Santa Barbara Spot Prawn A must‑order seasonal delicacy — incredibly fresh, served with the head on so you can squeeze out the rich, sweet roe. 🦞 Salpicón Not a whole lobster tail, but more like a ceviche‑style mix of chopped lobster with lemon, mayo, and roasted‑lobster olive oil — unexpectedly light and refreshing. 🐟 Grilled Sardines Solid, though I still prefer the classic olive‑oil‑canned version. 🍝 Seaweed Pasta A bit on the salty side, but interestingly light since seaweed replaces traditional noodles. Porto continues to impress with its coastal‑inspired creativity and fresh, vibrant flavors. #ChicagoEats #ChicagoFoodScene #MichelinStar #SeafoodLover #SeasonalMenu
