Super Authentic Pakistani/Indian Food in Chicago โ Sabri Nihari ๐ต๐ฐ๐ฎ
This place is well-known in the Little India area up north โ recommended by an Indian friend who swears itโs the real deal for Pakistani/Indian cuisine. Itโs also a Michelin Recommended restaurant! The street looks a bit worn, but once you step inside, you know itโs special. Prices are fair, portions are generous, and the menu has pictures โ easy to order! ๐๐๐๐๐ Karahi Chicken โ My favorite! "Karahi" refers to the wok-like pot it's served in โ you can choose different meats. A must-order, especially with rice! ๐๐๐๐ Mutton Biryani โ Similar to a fragrant hand-pulled rice dish โ only available on weekends! Great for sharing if youโre in a group. ๐๐๐ Palak Paneer โ My friendโs go-to dish โ spinach soup with paneer cheese.๐๐ I found it interesting but not the most rice-friendly. Dessert โ Kulfi โ A type of ice cream with rice noodles inside.๐๐ My friend said itโs quite unique and hard to find elsewhere โ definitely different (first time having noodles in dessert!). Donโt forget to order extra naan โ the place is mostly locals. If you love this cuisine, give it a try! #ChicagoEats #IndianFood #PakistaniFood #SabriNihari #MichelinRecommended #LittleIndia
