Super Authentic Pakistani/Indian Food in Chicago โ€“ Sabri Nihari ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ฎ

This place is well-known in the Little India area up north โ€” recommended by an Indian friend who swears itโ€™s the real deal for Pakistani/Indian cuisine. Itโ€™s also a Michelin Recommended restaurant! The street looks a bit worn, but once you step inside, you know itโ€™s special. Prices are fair, portions are generous, and the menu has pictures โ€” easy to order! ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Karahi Chicken โ€“ My favorite! "Karahi" refers to the wok-like pot it's served in โ€” you can choose different meats. A must-order, especially with rice! ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Mutton Biryani โ€“ Similar to a fragrant hand-pulled rice dish โ€” only available on weekends! Great for sharing if youโ€™re in a group. ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Palak Paneer โ€“ My friendโ€™s go-to dish โ€” spinach soup with paneer cheese.๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘Œ I found it interesting but not the most rice-friendly. Dessert โ€“ Kulfi โ€“ A type of ice cream with rice noodles inside.๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ˜Š My friend said itโ€™s quite unique and hard to find elsewhere โ€” definitely different (first time having noodles in dessert!). Donโ€™t forget to order extra naan โ€” the place is mostly locals. If you love this cuisine, give it a try! #ChicagoEats #IndianFood #PakistaniFood #SabriNihari #MichelinRecommended #LittleIndia
