📍 Volare Ristorante Italiano 201 E Grand Ave, Chicago, IL 60611 On a whim, my partner and I made a last-minute reservation for Valentine’s Day dinner at this super popular spot—but still ended up waiting 20 minutes. Even at 9 PM, it was packed! 🍝 Spaghetti Neri al Pesce – $38 Black squid ink spaghetti with sage, shrimp, crab, scallops, simmered in a creamy rosé sauce. 🍝 Lasagna al Forno – $24 Traditional lasagna bolognese style. 🍸 Espresso Martini & Lychee-Tini – $17 each Plus complimentary bread. Overall, the food was quite salty (especially for my lighter palate). My partner finished all his water and cocktail before finishing the pasta 😂 But the tomato-cream squid ink pasta was highly recommended—generous portion too!
