Super-Spicy Korean Jokbal at Haewadall 🌶️🐖

🍲 Spicy Pork Trotters (Jokbal) – The menu said “not spicy” — don’t believe it! 😅 This was sweet, fiery, and gelatinous — chewy, sticky, and seriously addictive. Less intense than the spicy chicken feet at New Village, but still brought tears to my eyes. 🍲 Gamjatang (Pork Bone Soup) – My go-to Korean stew. Tender pork spine, soft potatoes, and rich broth — pure comfort on a cold day. 🍲 Spicy Stir-Fried Squid – Also sweet-spicy, but milder than the jokbal. Generous portion of fresh, bouncy squid — great value. 🐟 Pan-Fried Yellow Croaker – Super salty — skip unless you’re pairing it with lots of rice or soju. 🥗 Free Banchan – A small but tasty selection of side dishes included.
