Super Surprising Benedict in Chicago 🍳
After finishing errands this morning, I was starving and decided to treat myself to a proper lunch with full-on “ritual vibes”. Went to The Dearborn — an American restaurant with high Google ratings. 🍴 145 N Dearborn St, Chicago, IL 60602 The atmosphere inside is fantastic — upscale and classy. The view outside the windows is so soothing, sunlight streaming in, instantly relaxing. Perfect for alone time, unwinding, or just rewarding yourself. I haven’t had Eggs Benedict in a while, so wanting something clean and satisfying for brunch, I blindly chose the Fried Perch Benedict — and was totally blown away! ✨ English muffin — toasty, soft, and springy, cutting into it felt delightful. ✨ Poached eggs — the yolk flowed out gently, so velvety and comforting. ✨ Salad — dressed with hollandaise and egg yolk, tangy and refreshing, adding nice layers to each bite. Finished 100% of it — not sure if it was hunger or just pure craving 😋. I’ve heard their fish & chips is famous (they claim “best in Chicago”), but I wasn’t in the mood for fried food today 🙇 — so maybe next time, or you can try it yourself! Though the staff were super busy — in the end, I walked my own check to the bar to pay because I was in a hurry to get home and nap 🛌. But that just shows how popular this place is! 😅 #BrunchGoals #Chicago #ChicagoEats #LifeInChicago #ChicagoFoodFinds #LifeInTheUS
