Sydney BrunchPaperboy Concord

Paperboy Concord📍 Address: Shop 1/18 Tennyson Rd, Mortlake NSW 2137 The cafĂ© is named “Paperboy Concord,” but its actual location is in Mortlake. After visiting, my take is: it’s super stylish, though the food is just so-so—still, I’d totally recommend it overall! Tucked away at a quiet street corner, the surrounding area feels incredibly cozy, peaceful, and neat đŸ•Šïž. If you go in the next few weeks, there’s a jacaranda tree in the side street right across from the cafĂ© that’s in full, beautiful bloom 🌾. The cafĂ© itself is also super aesthetic—it has that bright, summery, beachy vibe. Honestly, I’d be happy to come back just for the vibe and looks alone! When it comes to food and drinks, though, they’re just “average.” Let’s start with drinks first : we ordered a Lychee Watermelon Juice Smoothie and another veggie-based smoothie (can’t remember the exact name). The lychee watermelon one was okay—lychee flavor stood out more, probably because watermelon isn’t sweet this season. The other one just wasn’t our cup of tea: mint mixed with various veggies, and it tasted exactly like a “healthy, weight-loss drink” (not in a good way 😅). For food, we got their signature Soft-Shell Crab Noodles and a Fried Chicken Burger . To be clear, they weren’t bad—but both were on the mild side, and the flavors didn’t really “pop.” Of course, there’s salt on the table if you want to add more. One thing I want to mention: the soft-shell crab noodles used that super cheap Indonesian instant noodles you can buy at Coles, and I’m pretty sure they just used the original seasoning packet too. Don’t get me wrong—I actually like those noodles—but using them straight like that felt a little
lazy? Haha 😂 That said, dining here is still a really pleasant experience. I’d definitely come back to try other foods and drinks, plus—they’re dog-friendly! đŸ¶ If you’re looking for a quiet spot to hang out on the weekend, this is a great pick. #SydneyLife #SydneyFood #SydneyEats #Cafe #Brunch #StudyInSydney #MyCoffeeDiary #PaperboyConcord #Granola #BreakfastIdeas #BreakfastPoint #BestCafe
