The Alston – Chicago Restaurant Week 🍽️
It’s that time of year again — Chicago Restaurant Week is here! Running from January 23rd to February 8th, with over 500 participating restaurants 🎉. Each spot offers a special prix-fixe menu, typically priced at $60 for dinner. The Alston only opened in May 2025, but it’s already making waves — the kitchen is staffed with chefs poached from other Michelin-starred restaurants 👨🍳⭐. The interior is absolutely stunning and even smells amazing 🥹. Heads up: It’s a little tricky to find — located on the third floor — and parking can be tough. I’d recommend booking a nearby parking garage in advance or hunting for street parking. Check out their Restaurant Week menu on the last slide! 🌟 First Course: Ribeye Skewers – The beef was incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned. 🌟 Second Course: Duck Confit Croquettes – An amazing mix of duck, greens, and potato — texture and flavor were on point! 🌟 Third Course: Chicken Chasseur – The portion was huge (we couldn’t finish it!).
