The Best Authentic Thai Food in Chicago, No Arguments 🙅♂️
Previously, the so-called "Thai food heaven" that Lisa recommended on Xiaohongshu turned out to be a total letdown. After trying that place, I almost lost hope for Thai food in Chicago—the attitude was so dismissive too. It wasn’t even as good as the street food stalls back in Purdue Village. 😂 This time, we spontaneously visited this little Thai spot and finally had a satisfying meal. 📍 Eat Fine Design By Khun Kung Without a doubt, this place is the real deal—authentic, heartfelt, and delicious. ❤️ We called at 8 PM to ask if walk-ins were okay, and they said yes right away. They even reserved a table for us with our name on it! 😊 We weren’t too hungry, but the three dishes we ordered were all amazing—finished everything, no leftovers. Just order these, you won’t regret it: 😋 🍲 Thai Beef Stew Hot Pot OMG, no exaggeration—this beef hot pot is incredible. I won’t say more, just order it! The beef was perfectly tender, and the broth was so comforting. Even the bean sprouts and veggies were delicious with rice—we cleaned the pot! 🥗 Beef Salad So tasty! The only minor downside was that the fish sauce flavor was a bit strong, but it’s still one of the best in Chicago! 🍜 Fire Cup Noodle Go for medium spicy if you can handle heat. Even as spice lovers, we found it pretty spicy—but in a good way! The flavor was rich, and it paired perfectly with the fried tofu. The veggies weren’t fully seasoned, but maybe they’re meant to balance the richness? 🤔 BTW, the rice that came with the hot pot was generous—almost comically so. Had to share a pic! 😂 The service was super friendly and welcoming too. An absolute hidden gem—open until 2 AM, perfect for late-night cravings! 🌙 #ChicagoEats #ThaiFood #HiddenGem #LateNightEats #FoodieFinds #NoRegrets #AuthenticThai
