Gathers was founded by Peter Li (Chicago-raised) and his friend Victor Lei (hospitality background). They focus on βnew-school bobaβ β using premium teas and refined techniques to bring the flavor of tea itself back into the spotlight. Staying true to that idea, their tea really stands out β especially their Hojicha (roasted green tea) series, which is super rare in the U.S.! βοΈ My friend had the Hojicha Latte with double tea powder and cheese foam β rich, smooth, and comforting. π§ I ordered the Genmaicha Milk Tea β nutty, aromatic, and perfectly balanced π Their cups are also adorable, featuring cute cats, dogs, and Chicago landmarks!
