The Best Value for Money I Spent in Copenhagen, Denmark 🇩🇰!
Copenhagen was the city where I found the prices to be the most outrageous during my Nordic trip. However, after dining at Maple, I might have to take back that statement. My husband and I ordered two appetizers, two main courses, and two glasses of red wine, and the total cost was 799 RMB. This price might not even be achievable in most trendy bistro restaurants in Shanghai. 🌟 Restaurant Name: Maple Casual Dining 🔥 Google Rating: 4.9 🍗 Dish Recommendations: 🍴 Creamy Asparagus Soup 🥣 This soup is exactly the creamy, dairy-rich flavor I love! It’s made with goat cheese, and dipping bread into it is heavenly. The portion is huge, so I recommend sharing it between two people. Eating a whole bowl by yourself might be too rich. 🍴 Danish Blue Mussels Also creamy, so if you’ve already ordered the asparagus soup, you might want to try something lighter to avoid feeling too full. The portion is generous, and with the bread for dipping, these two appetizers were filling. 🍗 Duck Confit 🦆 I’ve been trying duck confit at various bistros in Shanghai, thinking that it might be more authentic here in the West. But it seems like the duck confit in Shanghai is already top-notch. The price is comparable, so if you love duck, give it a try! 🍗 Maple’s Steak (Signature Dish) The steak comes in different levels of doneness. You can prepare the English terms for your preferred level of doneness (we ordered medium well, which is 70% cooked). The meat is very tender, and it’s served with black truffle and mushroom sauce. The combination of flavors is unforgettable. ‼️ Final Note: Make a reservation! Reserve! Reserve!! Fortunately, the restaurant is right across from our hotel. On the first night, we walked in only to be told that it was fully booked. We managed to get a table for 5:30 p.m. the next day, but the place is really popular! #Denmark #Copenhagen #CopenhagenFood #Copenhagen #CopenhagenTravel #GoodFoodIsTheSpecialRomance #TravelDiaryWithoutEarlyRising #TravelNotForCheckingIn #LiveBroadcastingMyTravel #TheBestPlanIsToSetOff #FirstStopOfTheNewYear #NewYearCityWalk #MyStudyAbroadLife
