The Clove | Oklahoma City Bricktown

We stopped by this Indian restaurant while passing through Oklahoma City—and it turned out to be a nice surprise! 😊 Great flavor, affordable prices, and they’re super generous with the meat portions—total win-win! 🥢 Appetizers Pakora: So tasty! These fried fritters are perfectly crispy on the outside, and packed with fresh veggies inside 🥕🥔. Dip them in the accompanying sauce, and it’s a deliciously savory start to the meal—we finished the whole plate in no time. KEEMA SAMOSA: Think of it as a “lamb spring roll”! The filling is made with minced lamb, mixed with classic Indian spices—you can really taste the cumin, which adds a warm, earthy kick 🐑. The pastry is flaky, and the meaty interior is hearty enough to tide you over until the main course. 🍛 Main Courses Goat Curry: This has a rich, braised-style curry flavor (similar to in Chinese cuisine). It’s a bit salty on its own, but pair it with rice, and it’s chef’s kiss—the saltiness balances out perfectly 🍚. The goat meat has a nice chew to it (it’s served on the bone), and the spices are bold but not overpowering—full of depth. Lamb Korma: A creamy yellow curry that’s delicious even on its own! The sauce is smooth and rich with a subtle buttery aroma, and the lamb is so tender—soft and juicy, with no chewiness (and it’s boneless, which is a plus) 🐑. Whether you mix it with rice or scoop it up with naan, every bite is comforting and flavorful. 🍮 Dessert RASMALAI: The menu describes it as “cheese soaked in condensed milk”—and while the texture is interesting (it’s as moist as a tres leche cake 🎂), the flavor was a bit much for us. The aroma is really strong, and honestly? It tasted a bit like wet toilet paper (sorry, not sorry! 😅). If you love super rich, sweet dairy desserts, you might like it—but it wasn’t our favorite. 💰 Price The average cost per person, including tax and tip, was $31—totally reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. Overall, it’s a solid spot for Indian food in OKC. If you’re craving bold spices and hearty portions without breaking the bank, definitely give it a try! #HiddenGemRestaurant #OklahomaFood #OklahomaCityTravel #RestaurantRecommendation
