The Italian Restaurant Everyone Tries in Chicago 🇮🇹

This place is called Volare Ristorante Italiano—the name alone screams Italy! Located in Streeterville, right near bustling Michigan Avenue. Though the area isn’t too crowded, there’s often a line outside the restaurant—better to book ahead on weekends. Volare is famous for its classic Italian cuisine, with traditional decor and even servers who mostly speak Italian.👍😘 After sitting down, the server brought a basket of bread—standard in most Western restaurants. Dipped in olive oil and Parmesan, it’s delicious and satisfying, though the bread itself is a bit firm without the oil.😊😁 I tried the Gnocchi—Italian potato dumplings, a classic dish. The little dumplings are cute and pair wonderfully with the sauce and cheese! For the main, I had seafood risotto. It’s made with Acquerello rice, which was new to me and quite special. Generous portion of seafood too—really filling! But their pasta seems even more popular.👌🙌 Dessert was tiramisu. The plating was gorgeous! Honestly, this might be the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. Beautiful, generous, and delicious—highly recommended! #Chicago #ChicagoEats #ChicagoFoodie #ItalianRestaurant #FoodLove #MustTry #VolareChicago
