There's a Delicious Clown Restaurant in Rome 🤡🍽️
Il Pagliaccio is a Michelin two-star restaurant in Rome. The name "Clown" comes from a painting called "The Clown" that chef Anthony received when he was just 7 years old. It was a gift from his artist mother, and since then, he decided that if he ever opened a restaurant, he would name it: The Clown. 🎨 Now, this painting hangs in the restaurant. There's a tasting menu called "Circus"; the chef sometimes takes photos wearing a red nose; one of the desserts is shaped like a clown's face... This theme runs through many details. However, for the chef, flavor is the most important thing. Take, for example, the roasted guinea fowl, which is wrapped in bread and baked to perfection, full of flavor. 🌍 The chef's many years of experience working in various countries are evident in the culinary inspiration found in many dishes. I was particularly impressed by the lobster dish, which includes not only grilled lobster meat but also a plate of lobster fried rice made with sticky rice - delicious! 🍰 Here, you can also find an excellent "texture" experience. Take, for example, the mille-feuille, which is layered with apples, carrots, potatoes, enoki mushrooms, porcini mushrooms... When you take a bite, the texture is incredibly rich. This was my favorite dish of the meal. The restaurant also has a private dining room, which is very beautiful and can be reserved. #Rome #Vatican #ItalianCuisine #Italy
