This Cult-Favorite Chicago Deli Is Finally Opening a New, Bigger All-Day Hub: Here’s What to Expect

And we’re excited about it—especially since traveling to NYC for a bagel and lox seems excessive. Since opening in August 2023, Schneider Deli has developed a devoted following, selling over 120,000 sandwiches and counting. The deli is celebrated for its mensch energy and family recipes created by husband-and-wife duo Jake and Ariel Schneider. Now, they’re taking the success even further by expanding to a new, larger all-day Lincoln Park outpost that will feature exciting new developments. Schneider Deli’s newer, bigger restaurant --------------------------------------------- The 1,750-square-foot Lincoln Park Schneider Deli will maintain the classic deli menu that made the flagship location popular, but with extended operating hours and double the seating capacity. Notable items on the menu include their house-cured fish and hand-sliced meats, which are a defining staple of the brand. Highlights feature juicy pastrami and tender corned beef. Diners can look forward to bubbe-approved latkes, new sweet and savory Kugels and hot sides, warming matzo ball soup, their famous pickles and serious sandwiches, like Nova Lox-stuffed bagels or brisket layered with Russian dressing and hot giardinera peppers.
