It’s been getting chilly lately 🥶, so I’ve been craving something warm and comforting. A friend took me to this hidden Korean pub in Lincoln Park called Dancen — and as soon as we stepped in, it just felt right! 👍 The place was playing K-Pop 🎶, and the vibe was so cozy — like one of those little spots where K-drama characters go after work. We came for the signature dish and ordered the Rose Tteokbokki (Cheese Spicy Rice Cakes). When it arrived… I was speechless 🤯 A thick layer of melted cheese 🧀 covered the rice cakes, and every scoop pulled strings of cheese that seemed to stretch forever! The rice cakes were perfectly chewy, coated in a slightly spicy-sweet sauce and loaded with rich cheese — each bite was sinful, hearty, and pure happiness 🤤. Spicy enough to make you go "ssss-ha!" but impossible to stop eating. It felt like a quick trip to the streets of Seoul ✈️ — all my worries melted away with this cheesy, carby goodness.
