This Weekend: Seattle’s Most Beautiful Town Autumn Parade! 🍂🎉

One of Leavenworth’s biggest annual events is the Autumn Leaf Festival 🍁, happening this weekend, September 24–25! And right after that comes the Oktoberfest 🍻 (every weekend in October). Both are incredibly fun! I went a couple of years ago and loved it. The parade floats had all kinds of themes — pirates, flower goddesses… but what really stood out were the high school marching bands. 🥁🎺 There were grandpas in traditional Bavarian outfits cheerfully playing accordions on the street, majestic horses clip-clopping along 🐎, and all with misty snow-capped mountains in the distance. Truly a little piece of heaven on earth! ✨ The 22-minute drive from Leavenworth to Wenatchee Lake State Park is one of Washington’s best fall foliage routes 🍂 — arguably the most beautiful autumn scenery near Seattle! You can park for free for 15 minutes; beyond that, it’s $10 per vehicle. 🔔 Follow me to stay updated!
