🥢 Top 5 Chinese Restaurants in Montreal's South Shore
After the reopening of dine-in services, I've been eating non-stop! Here are my top 5 Chinese restaurant gems on the South Shore 💛🧡💚💜🤎 (Pictures are casual - focus on the written reviews!) (In no particular order) 1️⃣ Tian Fu Serves both Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine - nothing has disappointed yet! 💙💙 Must-tries: Braised fish and blood tofu with pork intestines (unique flavors you won't find elsewhere). Their fried rice is just okay though. 📍 8025 Taschereau Blvd, Brossard 💵 ~$40/person 2️⃣ Mitsuki (Yes, a Japanese name meaning "beautiful moon" - but too good not to include!) The freshest sashimi I've had at any Montreal buffet. Their BBQ short ribs outshine other buffet spots too. Every dish is beautifully plated with intricate radish carvings everywhere. 💜💜💜 ⚠️ Reserve ahead - even on rainy days you'll wait 40+ mins! 📍 8840 Leduc Blvd, Brossard 💵 ~$50/person 3️⃣ Papa Jackie Authentic Cantonese private kitchen with round tables that recreate China's tea house vibe 💚💚 Stars: Preserved vegetable pork belly & seafood fried rice. Great for groups - try their lobster banquet! 📍 4745 Grande Allée, Brossard 💵 ~$50/person 4️⃣ Le Ming Chuan Sichuan restaurant run by a Cantonese owner (chef trained in Sichuan cuisine) 🤎🤎 Killer dishes: Blood tofu and dry pot series. Their grilled fish is my favorite since Huang He Lou. Only downside: Cold appetizers like husband-wife lung slices are underwhelming. 📍 8200 Taschereau Blvd, Brossard 💵 ~$50/person 5️⃣ Deer Garden Signatures A no-brainer - visited 10+ times since pandemic opening! 💛💛 Pro tip: Free coffee/tea with fish soup noodles. Surprisingly, their "coffee" tastes like amazing milk tea, while their "milk tea" tastes like coffee! Perfect combo: Malaysian satay sauce + sliced beef + watercress + fried egg + cart noodles. 📍 7350 Taschereau Blvd Unit 35, Brossard 💵 ~$35/person #ChineseFood #MontrealEats #FoodieGuide #CanadaDining #HiddenGems
