Travel Notes - Dallas Food Exploration

✨Overall, I found the Chinese food options in Dallas to be quite diverse and reasonably priced. Plano Fish House Family Cuisine: Despite its low Google rating, I really enjoyed this place. It offers a wide variety of dishes, affordable prices, generous portions, and great taste. The service is also very quick. Update August 2024: Fish House has closed. ❤️B2J Fish Soup (Bu Er Jia Suan Cai Yu): Located next to Fish House, this place is known for its affordable prices and fresh fish. The fish slices are thin and tender, and the spiciness is just right. The menu is limited, but what they offer is delicious. 🍚Fat Ni BBQ (Pang Ni Barbecue): Also in the same plaza as Fish House, this barbecue place has a strong cumin flavor and is reasonably priced. Each skewer costs around $2.25, with some being slightly more expensive. The cabbage skewers are generous, and the chicken frame is a good deal at over $7. The mutton soup noodles are also delicious. (There is another location at 2528 Old Denton Rd Ste. 310, Carrollton, TX 75006, but this one has a slight disinfectant smell that kids might not like, although they did offer a complimentary plate of edamame.) 👩‍🍳99 Ranch Market Food Court: The roast duck here is quite tasty, but the porridge and buns are just average. The plaza where Fish House is located has many Chinese restaurants, including noodle shops and hot pot buffets. There's also an 85°C Bakery and another bakery inside the 99 Ranch Market. Turan Uyghur Kitchen: This Xinjiang restaurant has a limited menu, but the food is delicious, reasonably priced, and the place is clean. It feels like a family-run business, and the owners are indeed from Xinjiang. #DallasChineseFood #Dallas
